but i went ahead and got the bits which will turn into my bros B-day present, a new PC.

and will also let you into a funny comment my bro made...

i've completly forgotten what PSU it was, but it was a OK'ish one, blue and quiet....

Asus P5K-VM

2GB Tekheads Value Ram

1GB Corsair TwinX (from my Rig)

70GB Maxtor HDD (from my spares)

IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE E2160 CPU, but its now D805 from my old rig.....read on to see why!

when i was busy building my bro new comp, he came into my room, asked what speed the new comp is, i said CPU is 1.8Ghz and 3GB of ram...

he then said '' what?! 1.8GHZ???!!! my old one was 2.1GHZ! thats slow! ''

i said '' stop complaining, its free! what do you expect? ''

he said '' whats the speed of that one? [point to my HTPC])''

i said '' 2.66Ghz ''

he said '' why is your OLD ONE faster than this NEW ONE?? its rubbish!''

i said '' ok.....i'll give you the quick one then ''

he then smiled, left my room and i had one of those moments where i dont know if i wanted to laugh or cry...

as i was using some old parts from my HTPC for his new comp, i just did the right thing of swapping CPUs

having a computer idiot bro is lovly.....isnt it?

the PC7 Plus is great! it had enough room for however your hands/arm want to go, build quality is bloody good too, i havent had a single cut from this case and the best thing for me is its very very light!

but be gentle with the mobo plate, its very flexible, because i was using Push Pins on the cooler, i had to put my hand on the other side of the mobo plate to stop it flexing while i was pushing it.

lol, i only have 2 bros, and thats all i am ever going to get in this life, what better than getting a great family eh?

i'll see how this little chip goes, the HTPC and the new comp has nearly the same spec, i basically tried out parts in my HTPC first, and then decided what parts to get for my bros comp.

HTPC has same Mobo, same Rams but has a 7900GTO for GFX and Raptor for HDD. i guess in stock form both are pretty much the same....
