I just got the Dell U2711

Hello guys.

I managed to grab a new U2711 IPS monitor from best buy last week and it looks pretty cool and much sharper compare to my VG278H that I got around the same time, question is which one should I keep? I mainly play RPGs and action adventure and some FPS, I do kinda miss the smooth motion of 120hz when I'm using the U2711 but boy picture quality is just Amazing on it, all in all what's your opinion on this matter???

I'm guessing the Dell has a larger rez?? but for me the 120Hz is awesome, I have a sammy SA750 and I love it. So 4 me its the 120Hz wont go back to 60Hz anymore

Yes the Dell U2711 is 2560x1440 vs the Asus 1920x1080

I have to send one of them back, probably the Asus since I can't stand the backlight bleeding and colors are not in match with the U2711, only thing it has over the Dell is 120hz....

well I hope I made the right decision sending the Asus back and keeping the U2711, it just feels like a better display overall.

Sweet i also got mine 1 week ago & just got my new PC going last night - Installing drivers atm so haven't played any games on it but just looking at the desktop is sweet

How much did you get yours from? I got mine for $759 but had to pay delivery - I had other items on order too so freight was $100
