Since my PC is on probably 23/7 I thought i'd start folding again, this time being in a team lol.

But I do have a question, It might be really simple but...

How do I get it to use more CPU and GPU usage?

If you get into the client.cfg file you can easily edit the CPU usage and gpu usage which Operating system are you on?

Nice welcome back mate

ASUS P7P55D DELUXE DESKTOP BOARD

INTEL i7 860 2.8GHz @ 3.8 (4GHZ in winter)

Corsair HX650w PSU

GEIL 88B BLACK DRAGON C8 DDR3 1600MHZ

I am running windows 7

So I have a few CPU clocks to spare and I will probably load it up on a second system similar to this I have not doing much not OC'd as much tho but it is running server 2003, Will F@H run fine on server 2003?

My GPU won't do a whole lot of folding right now lol but I have a 460 on the cards coming next month so i'll have the 250 and 460 running then.

I'll give editing the config a shot cheers AMD_PBz

OK a little lost in the cfg.

Mine is

Code:
[core]

priority=96

cpuusage=100

disableassembly=no

nocpulock=0

checkpoint=6

What should I make it, I'm guessing I should change the "priority"...? But I am not sure what values it should be.

Edit the config via the folding exe. Create a shortcut to it and add -configonly to the path field.

"...exe -configonly"

Tnx for the welcomes

Instead of making a new topic I just have a quick question.

Dose using the Console client have any benefits over the GUI Client?

Not in my experience, no. It used to be that the console client would be a little faster, but now I think the difference is negligible.
