i have applied for a job...

like Matt said, research about the company, it goes down well.

for my wetherspoons interview i just reeled off a load of stuff about organic food, local breweries etc and they loved it.

if you are thinking of making this a full time job though, id recommend going for soemthing which wont totally remove all aspects of your social life, as my job now has.

woop

am now employed

the questions wernt hard

and then i just stood at window 3 on the drive through, making drinks, ...not the most difficult job in the world lol...

:D

ty :D

just got now a health and safety meeting

then i get put under someone to be trained up for a few weeks :D

woop! :D

My mate worked there... They make you remember exactly how hot certain foods have to be cooked at and for how long as a test at the end of your training.

Could have changed it by now I spose but I doubt it.

lol

they changed the application method..

so it might have changed

a mate of mine works there and will be training me anyway :D

so i'm lucky :D

Score. :D Money rocks.

I'll tell you now though, working in food SUCKS. It starts out OK, but it soon gets annoying. I don't even really work in "fast food," just Cinnabon - but it's annoying none the less.

McDonalds are renowned for having some of the best staff training of many businesses worldwide. They do train their HR very well - from burger flipper right through to management.

Aye, i've heard that too.. Maccy Ds is one of the best companies for staff, they will help you up their ranks, if you work for it.

Well Done mate, hope I helped you a little and did you say what I said at the end? curiosity now, but gratz mate.

the questions wernt anything like what i was expecting

it was like

"have you ever been in a situation where a member of a team you were in, wasnt following the rules, and if so, what did you do?"

and

"what do you think we do here?"

my answer: "serve fast food"

*she puts a big X on the paper*

"no!

we do NOT serve fast food, we aim to serve quality family meals at a speedy pace"

me: "oh right...i will remember that"

"good" *puts smaller tick next to big cross*

that was the only question i got a big X for

others were like

"have you ever been in the poisition where you've had to help someone?"

or

"if you saw a woman, with a pram, and a lot of kids struggling to get through the doors, would you continue cleaning, or would you go and help her?"

...obvious really
