I don't need to update my PC but it's fun doing it!

I'm sure i'm not alone in this dilemma but we do it anyway;) What is the upgrade that pushes you over the edge to spend?

I'm not a hardcore 'FPS' gamer but I love upgrades! I'm inspired by other people's rigs, it makes me want to update when I don't need to based on my needs

This is an open debate, no agena on my part. I currently have an AMD rig but I want to go Intel/Nvidia next year. Should I really have these concerns when i'm not an OC'er anyway? I love my PC and for some reason think an i7 2600k and 560ti card will improve my life!

Well unless you do video editing, rendering etc there is no need for more than a 3570k, and also the 560ti is no longer the bang for buck card, that goes to the 7850

For me it just depends on money really. If something new is out - I'll most likely buy it.

Like even though there probably wont be any benefit, I may upgrade to Haswell next year, and may upgrade to a 770 or something when they come out. It's just nice to have the latest toys :)
I've never really been one for fully new builds tbh. I prefer just making massive upgrades than trying to resell an entire system.

I'm also considering getting the triple stack noctua cooler when it comes out to replace my D14 - There wont really be a benefit in doing it, but as mentioned in the first post - it's just fun to upgrade!
