You don't need the extra 8 pin connection. The board will work with just a single 8 pin connector. The additional one is just for extreme overclocking, which requires a whole lot of power, not 24/7 overclocking, afaik. I wouldn't worry about it to much, if you ask me...

buuuut i want the 24 phase POWERRRRRRRRRRRRAAAWWWWWWW

You are going to have 24 phase power, no matter if you have one or two 8 pins plugged. Like I said it is probably just for extreme power consuming overclocks. Even a 5GHz overclock will not need the extra power the additional 8 pin can deliver.

Well when we refer to extreme overclocks we are talking about LN2 and crazy Sub zero temperatures. But what the extra power pin does is give more stable current, but it shouldn't make a significant difference you might be able to drop voltage by like 0.005 or something, but for air and water not a real big deal.

BUT if you really want two 8 pins, aren't there like Molex to 8Pin connectors or something?

EDIT: Becareful not to get a PCI power connector mixed up with the CPU one it may lead to explosions.
