HX1000 - GTX 580's

AX series are based off the Seasonic X 80 Gold plus series, but I have no idea where the AX1200 comes from, but I'm guessing CWT xD. My main problem with the AX1200 is the price, but it is a good PSU.

Seasonic make really great PSUs =D

EDIT: Apparently the AX1200 is a Corsair unique design, but built by Flextronics.

Hey guys, I said I'd answer questions on the 1st, and here we are...

The AX750 and AX850 are newer Seasonic-based designs. The AX1200 is a custom design from neither CWT or Seasonic. Reviews should be forthcoming, but the AX1200 is a rock solid product in our internal tests. We have been designing this product since the HX1000 launched – and now it's ready to go.

Just a quick update for anyone interested...... since changing my PSU to the AX1200W my GTX580's have been fine, no crashes etc etc (touch wood, hopefully I haven't spoken to soon) but it has been running a good few weeks...... the only crashes I have had is from the New nvidia driver (but only had that a couple of time, and only happens in games like Crysis 2)

I didnt realise the HX1000W was bad. I looked at reviews before I bought mine and I didnt see any bad reviews so I bought the PSU. I should be good with my hardware on this PSU though. When I am upgrading the next time I will get a better PSU.
