more info on what HWBot is can be found here but this is brief intro.

HWBot.org is a dynamic team of international hardware fanatics as well as internationally recognized overclockers, dedicated to gathering specifications and benchmark performance results of computer hardware as well as serving a non-stop overclocking competition platform for amateur and die-hard overclockers. you will be joining about 28,000 overclockers from all over the world competing in more than ten of the most popular benchmarks in thousands of hardware categories, resulting in over 500,000 benchmark results, a figure that is increasing by over 300 every day. the benchmark results generate points awarded to both the member’s profile, the team’s profile and the country of origin and based on those points members are ranking in the overclockers league, hardware masters league, teams league and many more sub-rankings.

Rules

http://hwbot.org/article/general_rules

the basics are simple, screenshots must include cpuz with the cpu and memory tabs open and gpuz for the 3d tests.

the new rules are also easy to follow, the overall league tables are now split up in to 3 tiers with the pro oc, oc and enthusiast leagues. enthusiast league is where most of us will be as it is for air and water cooled systems, for this league you must attach a photo of the system and its air cooling. pro oc and oc leagues are for those lucky enough to be using cooling that can take the sytem bellow ambient so dry ice, phase and other exotic liquids with thte pro being for the lucky few who overclock on a professional basis.

Team Power Points

this is the big new thing on HWBot as it is the new solution to combat hardware sharing between teammates, the idea is simple if a bit confusing to understand. only the top 2 scores for a type of hardware contribute to the team score but they also get a bonus to the team points.

to show this here are my points and how it stacks up for the team:

marsey99 UP 122.80 TPP 64.10 Contribution 76.38pts

as you can see i have a total of 122.8 user points but because others have submitted higher scores in some tests i only contribute 76.38 to the team with 64.1 of them being power points where mine are in the top 2 scores for that hardware.

get the right benchmarks from the links above guys, wrong versions are not accepted
