HTC's latest handset the HTC One M9 is due to be unveiled in Barcelona on March 1st this year. HTC One handsets are well known for their aesthetically pleasing all aluminium designs and powerful front-facing speakers.

Although no official details on the M9 are available at the time of writing, what we can expect as always is improved CPU performance, improved front and rear facing cameras, the latter of which is something they do need to improve on to keep up with the higher specification cameras of the likes of Samsung and Windows phones.

As rumours begin to flood the Internet, we will keep you up-to-date on the potential specs of HTC's flagship handset, as well as posting the final details when officially shown on March 1st.

What do you think will come featured in the HTC One M9, will HTC be able to keep up with the biggest names in the industry, such as LG with their new LG G Flex 2, and Samsungs unconfirmed Galaxy S6 and Note 5.

- Update
Its now being reported that the HTC One M9 will come with a a 20-megapixel camera, and that the images below are leaked images of the actual M9.

Ive got the 3 and didnt see any point switching to the 4 - it would deffo be a phone Id be interested in

I'd probably expect something new with the Note 5, they've already dipped their feet into the curved edge waters and now LG have come up with a dual edge curved design so they'll need to up their game. I'd expect a very high resolution screen as well as improved fingerprint recognition. Nothing huge but still an improvement, who knows what they'll bring to us for sure.

Well I hope they're not going for 1440p. Really useless resolution on a phone.

Smartphone producers now have the means to release phones that are actually capable of 2 days of battery life under medium/high usage and it's possible to do it with new ARM cores with better efficiency and slightly better batteries.

But no, they keep with this high numbers nonsense

If you think 2560x1440 a is high resolution for a phone, you need to check out the rumours in our upcoming Samsung Note 5 thread.

I just hope they improve the camera and do away with the ultra-pixel nonsense. That's really the only area the M8 is lacking in (imo).
