Looks like a nice spec mate should serve you very well :)

With your words & others input, I have gained more confident on my new system now. I just need to place 2 more orders for the PSU & fans (HSF & case).

Will be busy setting up my new system in the coming bank holiday weekend, which I'm totally luving it~! :P

Make sure you lap the base of that HSF real good before using it... TR have gone friggin' braindead on base lapping, it'll be nice and ridgey for you when you get it.

Mirror lap that bad boy for best results.

Anyone from UK would like to do this for me pls? :P

I'm just not tht kind of DIY guy sometimes...

just get a series of different grades of sandpaper. Start with 120 or so, then start moving up fast, until you hit 600-800. Use something like a $10 sander to make the job even faster. If you use the power sander, start with 120ish. If you do it by hand, start with 200ish.

Got my TR Ultra-120 Xtreme fitted on my QX6800 yesterday.

I realised that using the SilenX Fan Ixtrema Pro 18dBA 90CFM 120mm fan as a CPU heatsink fan is a very very bad idea. It couldn't push 'any' air through the TR HSF at all. Totally useless (Not completely useless, it does perform well as a case fan, push quite a lot of air. ONLY good for air intake, as it will encounter the same back pressure problem, however, not significant, if using it as an exhaust fan).

Now gotta use my Antec P182 case fan with my TR HSF before I get better 120mm fan to replace it. :(

Is Sharkoon 2000 good for CPU HSF cooling??? Any good recommendation for 120mm CPU HSF fan???

Cheers
