Hi

I'm thinking about selling my water-cooled PC (. . . suddenly people start paying attention. . .). However, I don't have a clue how I'm going to post it. I want to sell it on this forum, since I don't trust someone buying it on eBay, who hasn't got a clue how a water-cooled PC works.

There PC is here:

Before I stick this in the classfields forum, I really want to know how the hell I'm going to post/ship the PC. Would I need to take out the water???

If anyone has any ideas, that would be great

Thanks

you'd deffo need to bleed the system before you post it and everything would need to be secured tight, and the only way you'd want to send it is via a courier.

I use those packing airbags to prevent hardware becoming dislodged whenever i ship a fully built pc.I just totally pack out the interior with them.

You need to be very careful when packing it. You don't necessarily have the bleed the system in advance, if you're sure it won't leak in transit. I've shipped plenty of systems fully loaded and the majority have landed ok. But on occasion I've had a couple that have messed up big time and it was quite a challenge to put them right.

Top tips, pack the system well. Use a good quality box. Make sure you specify extra insurance when you get it collected, AND make sure the receiver signs for it "uninspected"
