There are 2 pots. The first one Thermal Material Remover. The second one is Surface Purifier.

To use this kit you need a dirty CPU.

As you can see it has a nice dirty layer of thermal paste stuck onto it.

So get the Thermal Material Remover, The bottle marked 1…

Put 2-3 drops on the CPU.

Leave it on for 30-60 seconds. Longer if the old paste is rock hard.

Now wipe off the paste and Thermal Material Remover liquid.

I would tap on it before wiping as you can wipe the liquid off and on to the mobo.

As you can see from bellow. The Thermal Material Remover allows you to remove the paste very easily without leaving bits everywhere.

As you can now see the CPU is very clean and has no paste on it. Now you could just use it now but it is best to use the surface purifier to make sure it is clean and when you put new paste on it sticks.

Get bottle number 2.

2-3 blobs on the cpu and spread it around with the tip of the bottle.

Leave it on there a good 20-30 seconds.

Now wipe it off. Again don’t let it spill over on to your mobo!

Now we have a nice super clean CPU.

This is very easy to do and the bottles last forever.

You can pick them up for £5 at Aria.co.uk

Now you might be asking why I have done this while the CPU is in the socket.

Well it allows you to apply force onto the CPU to make sure that all the paste is off it. Doing this on the table might bend the pins.

I just bought some 100% alcohol bottle, used some ear buds and a lint free cloth. Works fine and looks brand new. Did this when I bought IC Diamond and replaced the Noctua thermal paste

I would highly recommend not applying the liquid directly to the CPU like that, rather to the cloth first then the CPU, Sometime you could get little spirts that will hit the mobo. This stuff is NOT anti static.

Also worth noting that if you used Aria before, don't forget to check your Aria Bytes, as you might be able to get some as a freebie
