How to change ASUS BIOS screen flashing 3 times

its good for people that never update bios or rather dont know how most of the time, but if your bios fails/corrupts(few viruses out there do that) you'll need to flash your bios and since you cant get into it that flashing at the start is the only fix

but still very useful tip for noobs out there

Just disable Marvell controller, JMB and you're good.

Can you do that when you're using all the sata slots in your motherboard? Thought not...

Well I'm a noob myself so I would have wanted to know this before I started to try and figure this out myself... Everyone just said to me "That's ASUS for ya"

Really? You use all 8 Sata slots?

But the force keep current bios option is great as well. The disabling of controls is just for faster booting as well (only slightly).

I disabled my Jmicron controllers on mine earlier.. I just turn them back on whenever I need to use my CD drive. CD DRIVES WORK VERY SLOW ON THE 6GB/S SATA PORTS.
