hi all.
we recently got fiber optic broadband, and with it we get a new router, and so we went though configuring it, but it wouldn't accept spaces in the SSID or question marks in the password. so we changed the SSID and password of the network router, but our second router didn't change its SSID or password, and we couldn't access the router as if we typed "192.168.1.1" or anything similar it either gave us the primary router, or nothing at all.
so my brother decided it would be a good idea to reset the second router to factory default. so the wifi of the router stop working then after he did that but the network wired still worked, but today the wifi of it came back on, but it had its default SSID and no password. so does anyone know how to access the second router or find the IP for the second router to change settings? as i need it to get wifi over the rest of the house.
the second router is a cheap DLINK, and the primary router (the new one) is a talktalk router.
any ideas on how to fix it.
