How much coolant?

Im thinking of watercooling my new PC when i get it.

Im looking at

XSPC X20 Delta block

XSPC RS240

D-Tek compact pump

EK MultiOption 150 Res

I will also be cooling the NB on a Blitz Formula if i can get one.

My question is how much coolant will i need?

It's probably going to all end up in a TJ07 with the Rad and pump in the bottom half and the Res in the top next to the motherboard.

Res>Pump>Rad>CPU>NB>Res is probably the order it will end up in.

I was thinking This But how many litres of it?

This will be my first watercooling setup, if i decide to.

Hi mate.

I would say 1 litre of coolant will be enough to fill your loop. I always buy a bit extra though in case I make a puddle. Which I usually do. :D

What type of coolant are you thinking of using?

like others have said, 1ltr should be good.....

but....

i would get 2ltrs, thats for when i spill it, find a split/leak hose where it needs to be drained etc etc...

good luck!

Yeah I've always found that 1l just about fills my loops. But for re-filling purposes (and in the interest of saving on shipping in the future) i'd buy 2l

Yup, same. Always buy 2L for the inevitable refill - make sure you clean your radiator thoroughly - vinegar soaking/shaking/rinsing. Otherwise your loop will fill with gunk in no time.

Trust me, I did it half heartedly once, I saw the gunk get sucked into my loop/pump.

I was not amused...

I'd get F1, it's cheap an non conductive :)

Thanks for the feedback, if my dad stops being an ass, about this new PC ill bet that, i got my Asus Blitz ordered luckily one of the last from Yoyotech, well i hope i did...

I don't want it running hot, so watercooling is pretty much needed.
