how can i watercool my rig?

okay :) good , thanks what size ID and OD should i get for the kit?
thanks :)

The XSPC kit comes with 7/16" tubing, so I would say this one. (7/16 ID, 5/8 OD).

Alternatively, if you wish to buy by the foot, order this one

One retail unit of 10 ft should be plenty enough while still leaving you with some headroom for mistakes and/or changes for other reasons.

thank you so much for the help :D i think i will be buying this:

This kit:

This case:

and 3 of these fans:

um also what coolant should i use , clear coolant like the best? :) thanks
do you think this would be good? also the 3 fans that come with the kit could i use them to make it to 6 fans ? or would you say any good? or should i just use them as fans for my case?
thank you loads!

to get started, the XSPC 1650 are fine. then you can make a determination whether
you need more performance or quietness. we can spend your money pretty quick,
and you not knowing enough can be costly.

easiest advice: buy the essentials, install them, upgrade/update accordingly.

Looks good.

Personally I've been using Aquacomputer's clear stuff for the past few years and it's worked great (as mentioned with Primochill's "bad" tubing). But I'm not aware of any serious problems with other manufacturers' clear coolants, so you could probably also go for EK's coolant, XSPC's stuff, Mayhems' X1, Feser's clear coolant or Alphacool's stuff.

Personally, I have no experience with any other coolant besides the AC Double Protect Ultra. It's been great in preventing any corrosion (I currently still have an anodized Aluminium reservoir), I've never had Algae growth even after running a loop for 17 months without cleaning and cooling performance has been excellent.

Note that the performance differences between the listed coolants will most likely be negligible as they are still mostly water with additives (the water being responsible for cooling, the additives for preventing corrosion and algae growth). Any significant differences between them will be in their flow behavior (they flow more smoothly than water, making it easier to get bubbles out of the loop) and corrosion/algae prevention. For this reason I would also not necessarily recommend picking a coolant that's twice as expensive as average; there's no such thing as a thermodynamic silver bullet and any performance gains (if any) will not be worth the markup compared to competitors in my opinion.

Even the averagely prices coolants are too expensive for what they are as far as I'm concerned, but they do offer some benefits which is why I'm using them despite that.

From what I've heard the XSPC fans are actually not too bad, but the Noctuas will give you better performance/noise ratio. Whether or not you can still use the other 3 fans for something is for you to find out ;).

If you go for 6 fans on the radiator (I don't remember if that would actually fit in the 810) I would recommend 6 fans of the same type.
However, the RX360 is a very low FPI (fins per inch) radiator and therefore does not require enormous fan power to reach its full potential, so I would recommend sticking to the 3 Noctuas and keeping the other 3 as spares. It will be a lot less noisy for only slightly less cooling performance.

The Switch 810 already comes with some 140 mm case fans (in fact four if I've read correctly) which will in all likelihood be less noisy than the XSPC fans and absolutely sufficient for venting the case.

EDIT, because Airdeano

Of course the Noctuas are fantastic fans but as he says you can easily still buy the Noctuas later if you're not satisfied with performance/noise. Since I'm not very familiar with the XSPC fans I omitted that variant in this post, but if deano says they're good I'd try them out first.

okay thank you guys ive decided ill buy all of that apart from the fans, and then buy them at another time if i need them :D thanks loads guys you've helped loads! :D :)

also , i am mid way through a custom Case build, would you say finish building my case (will be bigger+more room than the 810 and save £150) or just buy the 810 switch ? i will be saving for the water cooling anyway
:)

Well honestly that's for you to know. You could of course finish your custom case, see if you are satisfied with it and if not still replace it with an 810. That way you only lose time if you still go for the 810. A custom case would certainly make your build more unique.

But doing a good scratchbuild is an enormous amount of work, if you use the 810 you can just pop the components in and be done with it (more or less).

Just do what's right for you. This decision is more about personal priorities and preferences than right vs. wrong imho.

ive been thinking about it , i think, ill save up for the water cooling parts, and continue building my custom case, and hopefully by the time ive finished my case , i will have enough money for all the water cooling, i don't expect this to take too long so once this is all done , and before buying i will post pictures , and then and what i will be doing/ buying and see what you think thanks for all the help guys :D
