How are my Q6600 stock temps?

Idle--

Core #0-37 C

Core #0-37 C

Core #0-30 C

Core #0-31 C

Should i be concerned?

No. Those temps are fine. Try putting it under a stress test and seeing what kind of temps you get then.

If this is under load, then my christ you have some good cooling.

They are fine matey. The quads are fine up to about 70oC.

I ran Prime95 last night for about 7hrs

Got 0 warnings/errors.

Max core temps at 100% load:

Core0 60 c

Core1 60 c

Core2 55 c

Core3 55 c

Are these average temps at 100% load?

No mate, i believe they are the max temp achieved.

Like Tox said, anything up to 70oC is normal and you shouldn't worry.

Do you think i'll have problems OCing the CPU to 3Ghz at those temps?

On average how much do temps go up at 3GHz over-cloack?

inonefly -- I'm using an Arctic Cooling freezer pro on the cpu.

I think it depends on the chip, but, i'm not sure you'll have nice temps at 3ghz with that cooling. Give it a try and keep an eye out.
