holly's 800D Rig 2013 !

HAHAHHAHAHAHA =) fck it .. i am changed it =)

Nooooo! I liked that one! I often mix German, English and French in my personal
life, so this kinda reminded me of that.

To be clear: I thought you did it on purpose, hence my laughter (I wasn't laughing
at but rather with you ;)).

So folks, I have just ordered the BitFenix cable extensions .. because really bothers me with the cables to the graphics card =)

Of course I'll keep you posted =)

Writes it out your opinions on the BitFenix extensions =)

btw. There are the red =)

Cheers

Well you could put a dog turd in the 800d and i would still like it .. you have done a really nice job looks tidy to me ..well done :)

800d build

hello rig very nice an clean look's good,always work to be done on our build's we do,ya you can do this or can do that but at end of the day it's your rig,if your happy with it then thats all that matter's,great job....

Thank you for the warm welcome.

@barnsley

I am very satisfied with my 660ti's .. The 660ti's have enough power for all the latest games and that is at the 760ti's just be so I'd say it's worth it!

@alpenwasser

I do not really weaken the 800D it could be a bit better air flow but with enough fans that have been going at the moment. And I like to listen to suggestions =) and the hatred of other people I ever make me any thoughts .. the main thing is I like my rig =). Now time for the thing with the cables. Yes Corsair offers the sleeved cables. Hand me the first normal Cabel AX860 because of the already look a lot better! =)

Hi people,

it is much time has passed since my last post .. I have long considered what could be the make or so and now since AMD released its new R9 290x Short hand I have decided to sell my two 660ti's and now upgrade to the 290x .. Order on my dealer's trust were out today .. However, the expected delivery date is 18/11/2013 ..

Looking forward to your opinions on my decision =)*

A nice looking build with a bloody lot of fans!

A few sources have suggested perhaps waiting for the aftermarket coolers of the 290x as the run quite on the hot side.

Well now, 290x sounds like a good excuse to water cool. :D

Or maybe add an aftermarket air cooler to it once those are available? Aside from the
underwhelming cooler I actually think the 290x is a pretty decent card though. And if
you're not too bothered by the noise then I suppose that doesn't matter too greatly either.

Yes I do think about it what you do best at 290x .. And water cooling I find also a good idea. I am very curious how the 290x will be loud. =)

Here is a current picture of my rig and a few planned updates!

New R9 290x

Hi there,

Today it finally happened, my long-awaited PowerColor R9 is 290x arrived. I have to say is not at all so loud now .. So .. compared to my two 660ti's I now have about 2h Battlefield 4 played, and the card runs really good .. =)

Here are some pictures:

Nice build, that GPU matches really well.

I recommend running the fan at 50-60% that way it won't get too hot and spin up to silly speeds.
