Higher framerates have been found to increase enemy damage in Vanquish, making the PC version more difficult than the console original.

What counts as "higher framerates"? Is it linearly, meaning 60 deals double the damage of 30 or is it only over a certain framerate number?

Hi, I'm the NeoGAF poster referenced in the article. In my experience, the largest difference in damage received occurs when you jump from 30FPS to 60FPS. The difference between damage received at 60FPS and 144FPS is actually nearly imperceptible.

Hope that clarifies things. As you can see, playing at 15FPS makes you nearly indestructible.
