as you all know i have 256k and today i reached a very strange speed

errr i have a 950 KB DLoad but sometimes it drops to 200.... So yours there should be normal

I usually get downloads at a solid 600+ KB/s, unless it's a slower server.

if it is cable.....and not speed capped you should be able to get about 4mb/s and sometimes above.

well i guess i could, if all of the other computers on this network where switched off ... there is always another computer using up some of the bandwidth
