I'm Granger (first name, not last and nothing to do with that bloody Hermione thank you very much!!!) Its also a blokes name ;)

I'm english, but I live and work in France since 1991.

Welcome to OC3D! :wavey:
That's an over-over-kill psu you have there , make a buildlog when you have the time.

Thanks, got a good deal on my PSU, so I was thinking with capacitor ageing and all, it would be good for the next 10 years ;)

I am in the process of doing that as a reveiw of my rig. Needed to takes some more pics as I havent got any with the 7970 inside it.

Hopefully will get that up sometime next week.

Caps degrade over time no matter the usage. The fact that you aren't even using close to half the wattage of the PSU just means it will degrade faster as PSUs are most effcient at 50% load.

Welcome to OC3D

Welcome! I've got to say, I'd like to see the art on the HAF 932. My friend's got a HAF 932 and maybe if I show him your art he'll let me touch up his side panel haha.

That I didn't know, although with all I have in my rig, the PSU calculators put me between needing a 670W to 950W power supply. (The ASUS one being the worst, says I need 1050W lol)

I'm not OC'ed at the moment (having a few BS issues) I am usually OC'ed at 4.2Ghz

Heres a pic of my side panel for you Pyrotoxik:

Hi Granger , Welcome to the OC3D forums.
Nice looking rig you have there , Great job on the art work , is that air brush?
You should post your rig in the Rig Gallery .
Also what PSU calculators are you using ? that seems a bit high.
Enjoy your time here reading and posting.

It will end up in there when I get around to grabbing a some pics (didn't think to take any last time I pulled her apart.
Thanks for the artwork, my nephew will start getting a swelled head soon lol no airbrush, normal brushes with acrylic paint and a couple of coats of mat varnish.

For the PSU calculators, I take an average from 4 or 5 (using Asus, MSI, Newegg and Extreme) (can't find link to the last one that I use)
