Online tech publisher David Ross has just bought the consumer website bit-tech.net from Dennis Publishing.
Bit-tech will be managed and published by David Ross and his team with immediate effect, David had this to say;
Both Hexus and Bit-tech will continue to act as separate entities, however, both will be made to complement each other, with Bit-tech playing more to the "pure play enthusiast" and "the extreme modder" and Hexus providing a more broad variety of tech reviews and articles.
Undoubtedly this will spell a big change for Bit-tech, not from a content standpoint but from a marketing and management standpoint. David Ross with his existing experience, contacts and existing co-publications will be able take Bit-tech forward as a brand as well as make it a more profitable business.
What do you guys think of the Ross' acquisition? Do you think this will affect OC3D? Please comment below.
