I updated my Bios and now windows vista is telling me i need to activate again.. so i type in my code and it says it is in use. It says i have 2 days to activate or windows will stop working. :S all i did was update my bios.

Give Microsoft a buzz mate. I've done it about 5 times now on my OEM copy of Vista. They'll just ask you how many PC's it's installed on and providing you say "1", they'll give you a new activation code.

Hmm don`t know about not working after 2 days.

Think u can call them to sort it out, some1 will know what the toll-free number is (should say on the activation thingy).

i rang them up .. got half way through then it just went silent???? no one would reply to me.. :S

I have the sneaking suspicion that if u did indeed have trouble getting through, or were unable to speak to them, it wouldn`t leave u with a totally unuseable install.

I think this`n`that (graphically) are disabled, it doesn`t do certain upd8s and it annoyingly would remind u about activating. Even after 30 days or so, I still don`t think it locks u out completely.
