help with second gpu not recognized

hello all

so yesterday i finished my new project the green machine (yay) this rig is basically a water cooled version of my last i have:

i5 3570k @ stock
2 x msi hd 7970 @ stock
850 watt evga supernova b2
8gb of hyper x blu
gigabyte g1 sniper m3
full custom watercooling on both gpus and cpu

the problem is my second card is not recognised by device manager or anything there is power going to the gpu and the crossfire setup worked before i water cooled my rig so i cant understand going from working without water cooling to then not. just on a side note the temps are amazing.

take out the card that is recognised and leave the unrecognised one in there. See if your OS can see it.

So if its the lower card not found, then take out the top one. Leave the lower one in the same slot first. And then try it in the other slot if there is still no joy.

yeah it was the most simple fix ever i had dust in my pci slot so i brushed it out quick bit of compressed air and bobs your uncle its working again and overclocking like a champion
