Help with cooling solutions

Hi,

Every time I turn my computer on it sounds like a hover, I’ve worked out that the noise is coming from my graphics card fan, which is surprising as it’s really small. I've got an XFX Geforce 7600 GT XXX (UDG3) card; can anyone help me shut it up?

Also I’m thinking of upgrading my CPU at the moment I have an AMD 64 3800+, it’s the retail version so i’m using the fan and heatsink provided. Can I use this heatsink and fan on an AMD 6400+ X2 or will I need a new one? If so can anyone recommend some good ones?

Cheap but very good and very quiet:

GPU: Arctic Cooling Accelero S2 with the Turbo Modules.

CPU: Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro.

I would not use the 3800 heatsink and fan on a 6400 X2, the Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro should be fine for both CPU's. I believe they both come with some good thermal paste.

Edit: I would upgrade to a X2 dual core, they are very cheap. I did and it is so much better than a single core.
