Help with controlling fan speeds

Just got a Scythe Kaze Master But some of my fans do not change speed when I turn the dials up or down. The only one that does is my processor fan, which itself came with a small fan controller that sits in a back plate slot.

My Antec 300 has two fans on it already with fan controllers but I can't connect these to the controller so I'm going to get new ones. Would like some help in deciding which ones to get.

I need two 120mm fans and one 160mm fan.

Suggestions people?

set the fan speed to full, and get a 4 pin to 3 pin adaptor, that should connect it perfectly

My 300 came with the 140mm and 120mm, are you sure yours is 160mm?

I confirm mine has 1 120mm and 1 140mm also :)

ah yes it might be that size. It would be easier to just get new fans as that is more cables and i dont neede any more! There are two other fans which have 3 pin connectors that do not reach so i used the extenders to solve this. That might be the problem with those. The antec ones have their own controllers. I plan to give them to my girlfriend, thats why i wanted the new ones.

also, fans have 2 types of 4 pin connections. The molex one and the smaller fan 4 pin one. The fan controller came with adapters for the latter

In that case I'd go with Sharkoons or Feser fans, they're good for moving a decent amount of air. Sharkoons are about 25% quieter, but they don't move as much air
