Hey guys,

I just bought the 650D... I realy like the case, ok its a bit huge but that doesn't matter

The only problem I have with this one is that it is realy loud!

Can anybody suggest better fans for that one?

It's not the fan that's loud, it's the contact of the fan up against the case. I bought a fan controller which reduced the vibrations but alternatively you can do one or both of the following:

A) put thick foam in between the fan and the case frame, or get four thick pieces of foam that you put a hole in to push the screws threw.

cut out the case frame fan mesh. There's a tutorial or someone's posted this technique on overclock.net and it seemed to reduced the vibrations a lot.

Hope this helps buddy

I have the same case, love it!

Yep I agree with daniSAUR. I have the 650D and my problem was fixed with a fan controller. If you don't want to go down the route of modding the case yourself a fan controller would be your best bet.

Ok I will try to mount the fans a bit differt an the if the money is there

I will buy a fan controller

Thx allot you two!!

Man I do eveything to my cases. Even when it isn't necessary, I add fan gaskets to minimise vibration, switch the actual fans to a brand or type I like and undervolt that stuff to between 5.5 and 7

Then there can be peace.

Yeah when air passing trough with high restrictions, the sound can be pretty loud. Recently got rid of my H70 because of the noise.

Yes I thought about buying a H100 but after seeing the review on yt I dicided against it

Other reviews mentioned a realy loud pump as well. Now I want to get a nh-d14.

I think I will get some sort of those anti-fibration rubbers... thx for that tipps.

You'll be very happy with the NH-D14 as it performs very silent even with its fans at full speed. The antivibration washers will be a good addition to the 200mm fan replacements. You're welcome.
