Help Virus BAD!!

I downloaded a crack for dreamweaver nnot knowing it was a virus and now it pops up a antivirus that I dont have installed and I cant remove pestering me to scan and buy now and its very crashy

Any help?

Moral of the story - you use illegal software (cracked or otherwise) and this is the risk you take. Anyway what antivirus software are you using or don't you have one?

He was using Avast free version and had picked up a Win32 Trojan-gen (which is Avast speak for a run of the mill trojan ). Hijack This log showed a presence. Anyway he seems to have cleared it off his system now.

Ok if you ever have a virus take 2 hours log onto msn have a convo with PV and have spybot s and d

The moral of the story kids...

Avoid illegal software crap

Have a good antivirus (this pretty much means NOD32 or F-secure , avoid norton)

Have good antispyware - Superantispyware is good

And dont download stuff off lime wire
