HELP! Truth or Error

I have just downloaded the Corsair Link 2 software. I have set it up to show where my stuff is. The "Drive Temp 2" is showing 122 Degrees C. Is this an error.

I'm gona go with a yes... It would be so hot you couldn't touch it... Some very bad things would be going on inside if it were true... and you would most likely hear it...

It is, without a doubt, an error. 122C is a lot of heat and you would immediately notice it. But to be absolutely sure, touch it.

Must be an error tbh, HDD max temp is usually 55-60 degrees Celcius (70 for SSDs). Your drive would be dead if those temps were real... :L

Can you smell something burning? If not, then you're fine

The good old smell test. I would say this is 100% fool proof, Its not, when my PSU went up in flames i could see the smoke and sparks before i could smell it. Safe to say i shit myself, picked up the pc and ran like Bolt with it downstairs
