Help identifying cable type?

Hi,

I recently bought an ex-display USB microphone, specifically a "Blue spark digital".

Because it was ex display, there was no box.

Turns it out it has a bloody none-standard usb connection.

I'm attaching a picture of the port in question, as I have NO idea what this is and what to look for. Is this something I can get a spare for, or have I essentially just wasted £50? :(

I've emailed the support centre, although suspect that they'll tell me to just buy a new mic, haha.

The cable is definitely NOT a mini cable, nor is it micro. It's less wide than a micro usb, and taller, when viewed horizontally.

That one actually isn't even vaguely to right shape, unfortunately.

ooh, You guys think I'm anywhere near the mark with this?

Are you really sure? Looks like an alright bet to me:

Edit: Wait no. This connector has holes for pins, where your connection seem to be more like a bar?

That Amazon link; I don't think so, considering the connectors are all on one side in that cable and your picture shows that they're in the middle.

Edit 2:
Type D receptacle maybe?

Far right.

Edit 3: Looks like it's the one but... it's an HDMI cable?

Does my head in too! Why they can't just stick to a boggo standard.. Remember the old HTC mini USBs they were odd shaped, don't even get me started with Apple

So... we're looking at a Micro-HDMI Type D connection here? Why on earth would they pick an HDMI based connector for a microphone? Does seem to be the one though

Done a quick Google search and can't seem to find any HDMI Type D to USB cables/adaptors either...
