Hi, I have a GA-Z77X-UD5H.

It started bleeping, I didn't know whether it was my Aquaero bleeping or the mobo, so I had a look inside. It was the motherboard, I shut it down and left it. Today I came back to it, booted it up and the bleeping started again, then, crackle, poof, off!

I had a look and the cable that connects the USB on the mobo to the Aquaero was fried!.

Disconnected it, tried to boot the computer, all booted ok, everything fine, but it was still bleeping.

Before the cable burnt out the aquaero showed no problems or ill reading and everything was ok except for the bleeping. in fact the mobo still seems ok, except I now cant use one of my Ethernet ports and that USB port may be dead.

So, what do you think it could be? Dodgy cable? Dodgy board? How do I test? the board is less than 6 moths old. How are gigabyte on warrenty repairs?

Thanks

I would rma both the motherboard and PSU then test all your other hardware components in another PC.
You should be okay with warranty I would of thought.:)
