Hi everyone...........started my new build tonight............but at a standstill.

Everything went well until I loaded in the memory (Kingston Hyper X DDR3 2133 grey edition 2x2 gig kit),

The problem being that if I load slots 1 and 3 or 2 and 4 the pc won't boot.

It seems to be putting any stick in the first two slots causes boot failure (the poster keeps at C1 and the system keeps re starting).

If I load slots3 and 4 it boots no problem (but this means I'm running single channel right ?)

Any suggestions ?

Likely to be a bad stick, try booting with each different stick in slot 1.

Thanx for the reply. I have tried both sticks seperately, the problem seems to be the first 2 memory slots.

This has happened to me on my P8P67, funny thing is I had my RAM in slots 1 and 2 until I put my motherboard in my new case yesterday and now it won't boot with them in 1 or 2 either only 3 and 4. I think my mobo is effed up anyway due to B2 probs. My primary HDD died yesterday and the one i'm using now is running slow and it seems to be getting worse, oh well, it's RMA time for me

well I suppose I could try clearing the cmos (now doing acts of desperation

Then I'm thinking down the same lines as you....................THE DREADED RMA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like I'll be joining you on the RMA road

Update on my problem.

I have requested an RMA on Aria's website............This looks to have been ignored !

I have emailed Aria's Customer services directly..............This also appears to have been ignored !

I have since looked at Aria's forums relating to returns and RMA's and quite frankly I don't like what I see, so the "alarm bells" are now ringing here.

I will try and email their "Operations Manager", BUT, this time if they do not show me the common courtesy of at least a reply I will be forced to send them a formal letter of intent.

As paying customers we place our trust in retailers and shouldn't have to put up with cr*p like this !

Agree completely! Give'em hell.

UPDATE..............Well they received my RMA at 9:53am 5/4/2011 and so far not even an email to say it has arrived !

I notice now that Aria have a forum on here now.

Sometimes it can take a day or two to get things unboxed and on the system and they might even test it before updating you.

Did they tell you at all what there RMA process was at all? If you don't hear anything tomorrow then I would pop over to our new Aria forum and ask them there what it is and when you can roughly expect an update.

Since we have an Aria forum now it would be rude not to use it

It does say on their returns FAQ that they email to confirm that it has arrived. But on the forum I was asked by the operations manager to inform him when I had shipped the parcel and he did say he would "walk it through the testing" and possibly turn it around in 24 hours. I did email him.

Yet another update.............well it's now early evening. Aria received my RMA'd Gigabyte P67A UD7 B3 motherboard over 3 days ago,and guess what ?

Thats right, once again no communication from them, even to say that they have received it. OK it's now time to test their OC 3D forum.
