HELP £300 Build challenge

Thank you then ill go with
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus - CPU Cooler with 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes
£17.86
can I ask is this quite cpu Cooler as i want to build a quite pc.

On the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus support socket is not 1150
Intel®:
Sandy Bridge 1155
Socket LGA 1366 / 1155 / 1156 / 775
Its not got 1150 so should I look at another cpu cooler?

I wont buy the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus as it has no 1150 support and instead ill buy the
Cooler Master Hyper T4 - CPU Cooler with 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes as its the same price and it has 1150 support.

The Hyper 212 plus DOES fit on Socket 1150 as that one uses the same mounting holes as Sockets 1155 and 1156. Might as well go for a Hyper 212 Evo though.

Hi should I get 1866MHz or 1600 as the both are the same price.

ASRock H87 PRO4 S1150 Intel H87 DDR3 ATX
Zalman CNPS5X-Performa Quiet Compact Tower CPU Cooler
MSI Radeon R9 280X Gaming Edition OC 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card gpu still to buy this.
I have 300 for main parts memery motherbord ect

If the capacity is the same I would get the faster RAM (1866),
The Asrock motherboard looks like it will be good,
That GPU will be really fast and should last a long while although you probably don't need all that power, so you could spend more on RAM or CPU for better rendering performance.

well for 300 I think its a good.
Gpu wise it should last me another 10 yaers
and
I am stuck I am a bit confused on what cou coller to get
I am buying most of my parts from dabs.com can some help me pick one that would work with cpu. I am not sure if the Zalman CNPS5X-Performa Quiet Compact Tower CPU Cooler and its not avilable at dabs.

AS LISTED ABOVE.
Get a hyper 212 evo cpu cooler. Also I believe that xeon max supports 1600 ram so 1886 ram would be a waste.

-edit- why not just get the stuff from the cheapest retailers not just the same?

On paper an i7 also supports 1600MHz max, but you can easily overclock that if you have a higher spec kit. Can you not overclock your RAM on a Xeon, even though you can't overclock the CPU itself or will the memory controller go all nope nope nope on you?

Hi what about the Akasa Venom Pico Performance Multi-Platform CPU Cooler its only £14.98 and seems to be a good alternative to the evo which is 25 and ill get the 1886 ram and put to 1600 in the motherboard.

Good point on the ram, Amazon would also be a good place to look.
edit- to cool a xeon the Akasa should be fine, hyper 212 evo is the go to cooler but it isn't necessary for a xeon.

I wouldn't touch aerocool. what bits are you going to be using from your old rig?

I was thinking of power supply, ssd, hardrives and case.
Through my power supply is old wondering if still good to use ?
Its been a few years I am unsure if it work with all my new parts what do you think should I keep my power supply?

what graphics card and no, you shouldn't use it.

The gpu will be a
MSI Radeon R9 280X Gaming Edition OC 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
£209.99
as I had 200 but for 10 pounds more I thought it was a good deal.
I have 1 ssd and one 4tb hardrive.
I think the 280x is good for rending and the 3 gb of ram is so much more than I have just know.
I might overclock the gpu as well through not sure if I should or not but I might.
