Hi, im new to the forum and i was wondering if anyone has some advice on overclocking my E4500. ive got it from 2.2Ghz to 3Ghz but ive seen people hit the 3.3Ghz mark.

it an old rig so dont judge... his name is Frankenstein
Intel Core 2 duo E4500, (after market air cooler, similar to stock), Asus P5KPL-AM EPU, (unknown brand) 2GB DDR2 667Mhz RAM, ATI 2400 graphics card, Asus Xonar DG sound card, Cit 450w PSU WD Black drive.

The cooler needs to go. You should consider getting something better. I would recommend the Hyper 212.

Pid, i know i should up grade the cooler but im just trying to see how high of an overclock i can get. im having low temperatures with the fans on 100%. im only running 1.2V max and the temps dont seem like anything to worry about
