Hello , first let me say I luv your reviews and what not. I watch everyone i can , what I realy would like to see is a Review Of Intels new chip the I7 980 that i just purchased 3 weeks ago. I have it in a ASUS Rampage 3 Formula, Bios Version 0801. set at 4.0 ghz easyest overclock i have ever done at 1.256 volts Prime 95 stable 2 hours runs awesomly.using stock extreme cooler that came with it never went over 141 degrees Feirheight. GSkill 3x 4 gig sniper series memory @1614mhz BCLK of 161. using stock timings 7-8-7-24 1.60 volts .2 evga gtx 470 sc SLI,at 725 GPU clock. OCZ ZX1250 power supply. my first understanding of this chip was that it was a 980x with a locked mutiplier. my brother said it was a chip that was not up to Intel's 980X standards hence the locked multiplier.. if you could plz do as you do and get to the nitty gritty of the subject and do a good review so i know the truth of what it is , that would be awesome...FYI if ya go to intel's site and look up this chip then check Spec sheet , it says , Extreme CPU spec sheet in big letters at top of screen.. any help on this subject would be absolutly Awsome ... Thanks , A Faithful follower.... P.S. if ya do a review a email would be cool so i dont accidently miss it lol !!
