Hello all

My name is Damo from sunny queensland. Im in my early 30's and have been into building pc's since i was in my early 20's. Since building machines i have always tried to use the best parts and i have a tendency to research parts beyond what any normal person would. A few years ago i gave up building machines and threw windows out the door for Macs. I got the tinkering bug again and tried to think what i could do to satisfy the itch. I discovered the wonderful world of getting OSX to work on a custom machine and have been playing in heaven ever since :P

I have now decided to embark on a journey to water cool a machine or 2 and have just begun my research and i plan to start building next year sometime. I am going to be going way way overboard. Im planning a caselabs MAGNUM TX10-D build that will house my current machine as well as a new Z87 haswell build and a Mercury S3 build again Z87 both under water. Ambitious but hopefully not rubbish :) Anyway thats me.

Welcome to OC3D:)

Quite some ambition watercooling two OSX systems in a caselabs case!

I will only be putting one side under water the other will have my current rig which is only on a corsair H100 I can't get a gpu block for my current card so I don't think I will put it under. All depends how I go though.

Thanks for the welcome guys.

lol a build log is gonna be a long way off, both cases being my first real big builds i have to do my research and save my coin. I have a lot of information at the moment, i could almost start a log now but i just don't have any of the actual gear. Ill be doing trial runs of sleeving to start off with. I have some basic tools but nothing of what i will need to do everything. I am starting to put together a list of parts and tools now. I seriously want to start the log now so i can catalogue my journey and see it unfold but on my current schedule i won't even start getting the main parts till at least august next year. Im in two minds lol.

My original plan was to go for the Cross Desk by Red Harbringer but after all the waiting and waiting i decided to not go down that road. I had a complete desk designed that i would sink the whole build into 1 side but again the logistics of that would be insane and i sat designing it for almost a year then discovered nothing i did would fit in the space i had.
