First off , I would like to Thank You all The staff, site members and the occasional passerby.... Thank You.
I am Not ...( that)....old but the very first computer We bought had ten times less memory than your 32 gig smartphone. I used to have to wait for a dial tone to get on the net . Yahoo , messenger and Netscape were a really big deal.

That was a long time ago and having terabytes of hard drive space and crazy graphics chip-sets at my disposal has made video and graphic editing a whole lot easier.

Over the past twenty years my Wife has gone from saying" your not playing that stupid game" to is that a game or a movie your watching? The PC industry continues to improve and I am happy to be here and to be a part of it. Now if only someone would make a multiplayer that had the wow factor of COD 2 or Battlefield 2. For those of you who thought it was a Warcraft reference my apologies.

I have had the pleasure of building and upgrading my desktops and laptops over these many years in large part because of the knowledge accumulated here. I really have appreciated the help over the years and would like to repeat myself with another huge Thank You to all :D Jam

Fantastic! You just took me right back to my early days  installing Freeserve then netscape navigator, then hopefully no one was using the phone line so I could have a surf... spending hours a night looking at random garbage and messing with the BBS.

Oh happy days, welcome to the forums fella.

Watcha Matey :wavey: I am with Wraith on the flashbacks of getting on the net and remember going round my mates house because he had 128kbps isdn line installed and surfing many sites whose names I have long forgotten. Then again I still remember playing manic miner for hours and hours :)
