Headphones Recommendation?

Looking to get a new pair of headphones and looking for some suggestions. These are the ones I've chosen out.

Around £50 would be my max budget but room for expansion if it's worth it.

Thanks ;)

Firstly - headphones don't have a mic - headsets do.

You're better off with headphones really and getting a lapel microphone.

Get some Sennheiser HD202s with one of these:

Should work out about £20 cheaper than the 1300s and quality will be quite a lot better in gaming, and significantly better for listening to music.

i am very happy with the 2000's which are the same as the 1500 (just the V2000 are wireless) so if they are in your budget id suggest that :) but i dont now how much of a stretch that is for you.
But yeah headphones will more than likely be better, but if you want an all in one then headsets are handy.

James, you should just put that answer in your sig, then you can respond with see sig

I'd go with James suggestion. I thought my v2000s sounded ok when I found an eq setting I liked but the battery was terrible. Then one of the cups snapped clean off and the other cracked. Crappy material quality. Stay away.

That is a good idea. Don't listen to music, watch a lot of shows and movies though. A headset just seems more practical, only ever use the mic for when i play games with friends seldomly. What would be your suggestion for a headset too just so I have a bit of choice of opinions?

Yeah that doesn't sound too good then.

I traded sound quality and clarity for convenience by getting a headset, as cables make me go crazy. And if i went sound quality and clarity route, there would have been atleast 2 cables in the way/view.

So i bought a G930, its twice and bit times more than your chosen one but there's the G35(wired).
I couldnt comment on how good it sounds as im not an audiophile but it is more than decent for gaming and my friends have told me that they dont have any bad experiences with my mic being too unclear or weird sounds.
