Hdd Problem

Hi peeps this may seem noobish but I haven't encountered it before, I have a samsung 500 gig sata hdd Model: HD502HJ my bios sees it as a secondary drive oh yes nearly forgot my M/B is a Gigabyte Z68X-UD5-B3 but here is the real problem, Windows 7 Ultimate won't recognise the drive when I try to install on it it says no drive installed and I know the drive works as I had it as a backup drive for awhile. Any help would be greatly appreciated Cheers.

Right click on My Computer, then Manage and select Disk Management on the left and format that bad boy.

Thanks for the reply dude I will give it a try a mate suggested that I needed to download drivers for it so windows would see it or that I need to put in the sata drivers off my main board disk whilst installing Windows.

Windows should load the default drivers anyway, so I don't think the drivers are the problem, but it's worth a try.
