Long shot, have you upgraded your motherboard's bios lately? and checked both GPUs are running the same bios?
IIRC GPUZ will tell you which bios you are running. I had more problems with quadfire then realised one of the gpus was on a newer bios, so I dumped it out using GPUZ and flashed it onto the second.
I really can't think of anything else, so maybe if you check those and it's still the same a new psu will be in order
I dont think so it gives ya headroom to add a nvidia card for physics if ya want. Plus it has like 82.5 amps on the 12v rails so it should power everything superbly

If you intend to stick with what you have then TX 750. Your system consumes about 560 odd watts going on that article I linked to. Your entire system GPUs and all. Buying something twice as powerful would be a waste of cash.
However, yes, I agree completely that future upgrades will dictate what PSU you will need and if you do intend to upgrade your PC a lot then go all out.
Now you are going 'huh more than a 1000 watt ?' right now. Yes, that's Enermax, the PSU is classified at 850 Watt, but really can easily handle much more, even over a kilowatt. And that's value right there in your pocket.
The PSU is labelled with a Silver class power energy efficiency, what that tells us is that the PSU efficiency is exceptional for a PSU the 850 Watt range -- ranging from 85% to 91% over a wide range of load utilization.
Fact is, the Revolution series are a powerhouse inside your PC. The revolution 850W can peak well over a kilowatt, and that is very extreme. The fun thing is, it remains completely silent while stressing it.
It also has more ampage. The HX 1050 is obviously a fine power supply, but the revolution is among the finest power supplies money can buy. And if you'r going to do it then I would do it right
