Techpowerup! Has the lowdown on the latest generation of cards from ATi/AMD.

The heavyweight card (featured in the second pic) will feature 825MHz core and 2400MHz memory clocks, DirectX 10.1 support, PCI-e 2.0 technology and will be named the Radeon HD 3870.

The HD 2850 on the third picture will be clocked at 700MHz/1800MHz core/memory with DirectX 10.1 support and PCI-e 2.0 technology.

Both of these cards are manufactured using the 55nm process.

Interesting. Are there many titles using the dx10.1 architecture now compared to dx10? If so, time to sell the GTX and wait for the next gen of cards me thinks

I don't believe the DX10.1 architecture will be markedly different from DX10 to be fair and games should be backwards compatible anyway.

From all the people with nvidia cards, most of the market, I honestly doubt that they will make games for 10.1, its changes are so small its not worth the hassle cutting thousands of gamers off.
