1080p - The ONLY way to go gives you decent framerate and decent resolution but after 24" you are being interpolated and therefore loosing quality. So after 24" you better be getting it cheap.
Monitors are the ONLY way to show glorious HD material but resolution means power. Go as big as you can afford and make sure your GPU and decoder can keep up.[/QUOTE]
hi guys just wanted to say that i have a hanspree 28" hdtv only £280 new with a built in freeview
Hannspree HT09 (google it!!!)
I know i am from the uk but just wanted to give you a good value monitor for your money
i have my pc plugged into it now in bedroom and they are really good value
full hd 1080p and they have a res of 1920x1200 which for gamin is quite a substantial res to play games also bought this lead to plug it into my pc
OXi-Gold-HDMI-Male-to-DVI-Male-HD-TV-LCD-Plasma-Lead_ (google it)
my only problem is that I have to have external speakers plugged into pc to get sound as the pc audio inputs for tv only pick up sound on the pc channel
also have an acoustics solutions 37" from argos which is pretty good 1920 x 1080 res my pc runs on this pretty good too and only cost £400 after doing a lot of readin it is apperently the same screen they use in a sony tv that costs twice the price as mine
sorry for askin you to google them but i don't have 15 posts to add web links!!
