Cool. It depends on your own personal preference at the end of the day and the 2560 x 1440 resolution will look amazing. In the end I think it is a better choice (even though I prefer the 1920 x 1200 resolution), because you will need to utilize the full potential of the two amazing cards your going to purchase

just one dude i was in pcworld yesterday to see if they kept any fans (they dont) and i thought id have a look at themonitors while i was there. i seen a 23 incher and the 27 inch apple cinema display and my heart melted. the size the colour the clarity. so i went home and check hazro direct. that is a pre order discount. so when you are buying a 27 inch 1080p for 250 i think it makes sense to pay 100 extra for the super res screen

Yeh, the Apple monitors are top notch, but they are pretty expensive. 100 quid for the extra screen "real estate" is not bad at all. IPS monitors are so much better than any other LCD screens out there and you won't be disappointed. I'm extremely happy with my IPS monitor and you will be too

it arrived yeaterday while i was at work.

IT IS FREAKING HUGE

it also looks incredible. the glass face is tre classy. as ive started calling it its the wise mans apple cinema display. why wise man you ask. wise man because it is virtually the same monitor for a 3rd the cost (yea so what it doesnt have an osd for making adjustments but so what ive never had to use an osd before anyway

Im pretty sure you cant change the settings but they come from the factory precalibrated. Just one of the methods for making a product that is affordable and still maintain a high standard of quality. Sure the stand may be stiff and be of a simple design. But the screen itself is clean and simple.

Im happy with my purchase
 
I hope my next monitor is a 120Hz IPS for sure, I chose the 120Hz/3D over the IPS when I bought my current one, but let's see what the future brings, just so long as it's not too expensive lmao
