Nice dude, Using it now and loving it, I like the selective

customization with the Gadget along with Drive temps.

Like it better than "Core Temp".

I do not see a thumbs up emoticon, so this one will have to do

Brilliant, often when I start folding for the day I need to open CPU-Z and HWMonitor to check that the CPU is still running an overclock, (I have had cases of it reverting to stock for unknown reasons).

But this does it all, it's a small thing, minute in fact, but I love it because of that.

Only 'problem' I've had is Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 shows me this message when I run the program:

OC3D Hardware Monitor Detected: PDM.Suspicious driver installation 11/09/2011 11:28:04

It still runs fine after this message but I thought you should be made aware.

Thank you very much for making it.

EDIT: Also between Temperature Unit and Read HDD Sensors in options there is a clickable option there, so I can hover my mouse over it and the bar will highlight, but no text to tell me what clicking it does and doesn't appear to do anything when clicked.

EDIT: And clicking Help>About does nothing.

yep - there are a few more things i am adding to it (if it get used alot)...

  • to make it a 'proper win7' gadget (dockable with 'the others')
  • customisable skins and themes
  • a pop-up window with heat visualisations
  • maybe some system tools added to it (API shells)

Very good (best I've seen)!

But if you could find a way of getting the Foxconn Inferno Katana (non-GTI) voltages for cpu and such it would be even better!

Nice features, and I really love the design of the gadget

Hi,

Nicely done! I assume that's some sort of common free-ware lib you're using there to access the hardware? I've always found utility type programming quite fun and used to knock up lots of little bits in the past. Sorta out of practise now lol.

What did you develop this in out of interest? I'm pretty much limited to VS2010 these days as that's what we use at work...they did threaten to make me do some stuff in Delphi but I don't really want to go there again. I used to switch between tools and languages all the time but I'm a bit more set in my ways now...plus an age of supporting VB .net 1.1 stuff has mentally damaged me I think

Cheers,

Scoob.
