slowly getting some data back, Was coping it to my WD CAVIAR GREEN 1.5TB 7200/64MB/SATA2 and then it went missing and windows said "You need to format this drive before you can use it" so I unplugged (its on hot swap sata ports) I restarted my PC then plugged it back in again and there was a nice empty 1.5TB HDD

I'm really going off Western Digital at the moment.

Thinking of picking up some Seagate HDD's next week, Whats your opinion?

Seagate and Samsung, no question about it, I have some Seagate Barracuda drives that are about 6 years old still running like day one.
