I think I mentioned before that I absolutely despise Posting in this thread except to offer my condolences

I am officially Baffled by this Just woke up to a horrendous chattering coming from my rig thinking maybe something has come loose and is rattling around only to discover my 470 making one hell of a racket!

What I'm about to show is not for the faint of heart all I can say is WTG MSI for having an RMA location in Mississauga as I'm hoping to have one back before Christmas ....

Uploading video to you tube right now

this is the first time ever i have memory go broke on me ,

I seriously need to check this whole rig before it takes more stuff with it...

Probably doesn't count but I lost all the front panel display and buttons on my old Thermaltake Mozart TX case. Literally have to use the tip of a pen to cross the button pins on this old Asus P5B.

So after about 20 minutes on the phone with MSI I come to find out my 470 twin-frozr II is a sample card and Cannot Be sent in for RMA.

I'm still trying to let that sink in and decide what to do next.

As a Sample card might it be better than say another twin frozr II I don't know to be perfectly honest some say that they are all the same some might argue that sample cards are "cherry picked" so to speak I am taking suggestions and would love some insight if anyone is daring enough to share.

Thanks again everyone

ahh but thats still crap u get a card with warranty that goes on fire and then they send u one that doesnt last long either and that goes poo and u have no warranty

yea they suggested i get in contact with the seller, which really all I want them to do is the same thing that Noctua did for me is I send pictures of the broken screw and they sent replacement kit where all MSI has to do is send a replacement fan and I will be content.

on top of still having the piece of mind that my card will be under warranty 2 years down the road if anything arises.

yeah thats totally reasonable and u would think they would do that for the more experienced users that dont need the card gettin sent away to get something replces on it when we can do it in such a small scale of time compared
