Just thought it would be cool to do a little comparison between the original HL2 and the mod pack for it called "Cinematic Mod".
I will show 1 scene from the original and the next will be the same scene but done with CM2013 -

If you want to try the mod for yourself you will need Half Life 2, Episode 1 and 2 as well as the Source SDK, Source SDK 2006 and 2007 that can be found in the tools section of your library in Steam.
The mod can be download at the link below, Be warned it's in excess of 10GB with the latest beta updates.
It can use over 3GB of VRAM in parts due to the high resolution of the textures at 1080P but usually stays easily at 60FPS, The music has also been completely overhauled with segments from the Nolan Batman films, It goes amazingly well with the setting.
