Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone here owned a HaF X chassis and if so would you happen to know and be willing to tell me how loud the stock fans are? I kind of want to get this case for my new showy lan rig but still want it to be a relatively quiet PC. Thanks for the help if you have any guys!

P.S. if anyone has a nice looking (more gamer design chassis, my main is a 700d but for lans and stuff I want a beast)chassis that you would recommend instead of the haf X I am always open to suggestions.

hey man, this case is like the 700d, a huge 500lbs gorrilla....

do you really want to lug that around...

go for the storm sniper it comes with a handle... makes life so much easier..

about the fans you won't even notice them.. atmo a bit under powered...

Haf x Weight 31.6 lbs. Storm Sniper Weight 26.46 lbs doubt you'll notice the 5 lbs but as far as size goes haf x Dimensions(L x W x H) 23.20" x 9.10" x 21.70" sniper Dimensions(L x W x H) 22.30" x 10.00" x 21.70" theres not much difference there but the sniper only has 7 expansion slots compared to the Haf's 9 it'll fit a XL- ATX where the sniper wont. The sniper doesnt list EATX as supported but I can afirm it does

and no you wont notice the fans

Have a look at the silverstone raven tom just reviewed, that thing would be great for lanning!

the stock fans that come with all CM cases are loud compared to better fans such as the nocyua equivalents.

i swapped all my fans in my scout storm last week

My CM fans are rated 30db and they're pretty bareable (I forget they're there I'm so used to them). They're noisey but it's a nice clean rapid swooshing sound rather than that horrible grinding spitting server room noise
