Hackers

^Not even this, it's ran by IW and Activision the most money hungry game producers of all time they don't care about your experience on the game after you've bought it.
 
The thing is, it isn't just the CoD franchise.
Steam needs to have an easier way to report players who are modding and cheating and after that there needs to be a follow up onto the report. I love PC gaming but stuff like this makes me go back to the xbox.
 
Hackers are the cancer of online gaming, BF3 is just as bad as CoD lately but PB is on a ban wave and 277 of them have been banned in the last 24 hrs. The thing is though and it's most likely the same with CoD, the hack sites give you a free game key if you get caught using their hack. So even if they do get banned it's not a big loss to them and they are back within a day or two, some learn their lesson but others keep coming back.

I don't understand why people have to hack, it's just lame.

Hopefully people will report the people in the videos and something will happen even if it is for a day or two.
I just don't understand why we have to go through the loborius process of sending a friend request in order to report somebody on steam. Dirt 2/3 is also hack to hell or has been when i have played it.
 
Some of the hacks I actually enjoy. It's always nice to get a 'creative' hack lobby, where the floor is 'ice', or you jump really high, stuff like that. It sucks when it's one person who gives themself an unfair advantage over the rest so as to boost their stats. That's just sad.
 
In my oppinion the wallhackers are much worse than this public hacks. It's hard to detect them - that reason made me quitting esl playing.

Esl has its own anti cheat which is supposed to be pretty good. Ive used for playing css competitively and it does stop most if not all hackers.

As for hackers in general most do it blatantly just for laughs and to piss people off. The best way to avoid this is to play on servers that have a good admin system and have admins online most of the time so blatant hackers get band quickly. The other type are the ones who cant play the game but still want to be seen as good players. These are usually wallhackers but a good admin will see them and ban them. If there is no admin online I just swap servers or see it as a challenge to kill them over and over again until they leave.

Its like in bf3 people who camp the crane on canals. I usually will try to land on the crane and knife the sniper or just out shoot them over and over until they stop camping up there.

It is more fun for me to piss off hackers by being legit than to piss off legit people by hacking.

It is fun beating hackers. But nowadays they give themselves god mode and fly around the map, well on mw3 which makes it practically impossible to kill them. Plus with steam they can change their display name after a match and then go on like nothing happened.
 
I know, but there are good players, who are hacking and it's almost impossible to bet them. I played in 2on2, 3on3, 5on5 ladder and in vs. I love it to kick hackers ass, but sometimes it's impossible.

Not sure about mw3 but in css if you open console and type status it will show everyone on the server with their steam ids. Cant change your steam id.

Ya usually when something like that happens its time to change server until they are gone. That usually happens when your on a killing spree and having a good run.
 
Mhm just played for competition S&D with promod and esl rules. But it still sucks if you're loosing just because they have a hacker. :mad:
