Hi everyone!

It was a little while since I finished this build(13 October), but I had no time to upload photos, and even make them:)

So its my 1st LC build, but I have to say that definitely not last one:)Even I would like to watercool my GPU but unfortunately, there is no GPU WC block for 580 Matrix Platinum, I even send meassage to EK with question, if they will make LC block for Matrix but they said NO:(So sad because for 580 DCII you have special water block. Also I had to cut fan controller mount, cuz it was too long and I couldn't fit the rad with fan controller.Yeah and I know that some of my carbon its not 1class but I still have some spare one to fix it in future:)

Hope that you all like it

All of this came to me from Specialtech, and Scan on 11 October:)

Light Show:)

I know that on pictures lights are bit too bright but my camera its not the best (Samsung Galaxy S % Sony DSC-W30)

Comments are welcome:)

Looks good

The only thing i'd say is turn the CPU block 90 degrees to the left and maybe put the pump in the optical bays on top of the PSU if you have the fan facing down, it will tidy the loop up a bit and make the tubing straiter.

Still looks good though.

Yeah I thought about the cpu block as well but so far I leave it like this cuz dont have to much time for my pc right now.

When I gonna LC GPU I will move pump and attach it to bottom fan on rad in drive bay using this http://www.specialtech.co.uk/spshop...350355-Mounting-Bracket--Black-pid-12504.html

and than another 240 rad on bottom:)

Happy that all you like it

DAM thats a nice rig

but two things:

1. would you like ur matrix to stay green (aka not blue purple red?)

2. would you like to LC ur matrix? and would you do it if i told you how?

Couldn't agree more but still a great first attempt

SWEET! Looks really good, the only way i could think of to make it look better is if you changed all the green with orange

Thanks Guys:)Really happy that you like my rig:)

@mrDMxtreme: how to LC matrix??Also tell me about this green light:)

@Lollipop: Sorry mate but Personally I REALLY hate orange because my father was killed by orange car

But I was thinking about blue, but green and black looks better.Maybe my next rig will be black and white:)

Ok i'll link you what you need, but you have to read this whole post before reading the LCing link because that is just to get the idea from.

first for the green light i actually figured out how to do it and made a little "tutorial" or whatever you call it, you can see it here

now to water cool ur matrix can you read this modder's guide, BUT use just a little bit of creative thinking and you can improve it a lot. first of all he used a h70... IMHO thats silly, you should buy a proper universal gpu block. then it will properly fit on there, and since the matrix already has a heat sink on the vrm's or whatever capacitors there are, you are good just need to put the fans back so that u get the cool look and to get some airflow on the heatsink. if you do it like i suggest with the proper gpu block, it will look better and you can make one hose come in from one side of the card and the other hose out the other side.

the reason i kinda thought about this is because i would like to water cool my matrix around b-day / x-mas so i was looking around and planning.

and now that i think about it, it may be a little easier for you to put the fan shroud back on because ur card is sideways in ur case so you can probably attach it to the pci slot thingie on the card.

let me know if you like the ideas, and post pics if you do either (and if you have any questions feel free to ask, everyone here likes to help

Thanks mate for your replay

I dont really wont to ruin this card cutting cables or so, cuz I would like to sell it in future
rolleyes.gif

Also doesn't looks the best, btw this guy who attach h70 using cable tie is mad, and card looks awful
blink.gif

I though as well about uniwersal water block but you have to cool memory as well, so then you need to use part of the stock heatsink to cool memory which in my eyes doesn't look ok(dont really wont to have a hybrid)so far I stay with air cooler for GPU until any nice company are gonna make me full water block for Matrix. And when Nvidia or Radeon will release new gen gpu I will go for one of them and just get referent card and full water block, and sell Matrix. But I hope somebody will make full water block cuz for 580 DCII you have water block, so its not really big deal to make block for Matrix.

lol yea his did look bad, but i think it can be done nicely, as for your LED there is no cutting... why do people assume that? its just like if you want to sleeve cables, you DON"T cut with the knife, i just suggested that because its easy to use to lift the little plastic tabs that hold in the wires. look at any sleeving guide on how to pull out the cables from fans, its easy, and to put them back all u do is push them back in and they pop in, its simple and if i popped them back in you would never have known

(i'm going to go added that you do NOT damage anything when does this)
